What a day, Clarence Valley!

On Saturday, the Maclean Showground came alive for Ready Clarence Valley, bringing together emergency services, community organisations, local businesses, volunteers, families and community members for a day focused on one important question: Are we ready for whatever comes next?

The event provided an opportunity for the Clarence Valley community to meet the people and organisations who respond when emergencies happen, learn more about what they do and discover practical ways to better prepare their own households, families and businesses.

From workshops and demonstrations to information stalls, conversations with emergency services and community organisations, Ready Clarence Valley was about turning emergency preparedness into something practical and achievable.

A huge thank you goes to everyone who helped make the event possible, including our emergency services and community organisations, workshop presenters, volunteers, stallholders and raffle prize donors. Most importantly, thank you to the families, businesses and community members who took the time to come along, ask questions, get involved and learn more about preparing for emergencies.
