FREE community event
Bring the family, have a look around and learn something that could make a real difference when it matters.

Ready Clarence Valley is bringing the people who respond, recover and help our communities get back on their feet together at Maclean Showground for one big, hands-on community day.
See emergency services in action with vehicle & equipment displays. Meet the crews and organisations who respond when we need them most.
Learn what to do before floods, fires, storms and other emergencies. Pick up practical tips you can actually use at home
Want to get involved? Meet local organisations looking for new members and find out how you can become a volunteer.
Grab something from the food trucks and bring the family along for a day of workshops, fun & food.
This isn't about sitting through lectures on disaster preparedness. It's about seeing how it all works, asking questions, meeting the people behind the uniforms and leaving better prepared than when you arrived.
We're also inviting emergency services, community organisations, government agencies, relevant businesses and food vendors to get involved through displays, demonstrations, workshops, presentations and interactive activities.
