Terms and Conditions for Community Organisation Christmas Raffle 2025

1. Organiser: This raffle is organised by Maclean District Business Chamber Inc ("the Organiser").

2. Eligibility: Entry is open to all individuals aged 18 years and over. Proof of age may be required upon ticket purchase or prize collection.

3. Ticket Sales:

• Tickets are priced at $5 each (GST not applicable), or 3 for $10.

• Tickets can be purchased in person with cash at an approved seller or online via card payment only.

• Ticket sales will commence on 5th November 2025 or when ticket books become available, whichever occurs later. Ticket sales will conclude on 13^th December 2025 at 5pm.

• A maximum of 3000 tickets will be available for sale. Tickets will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis.

4. Prize:

• The Total Prize Pool is $3071 as of the 24th of October 2025. The Grand Prize consists of $1,500 worth of Christmas Day and Festive Season entertaining needs, and cash. Second Prize is $1022 in local business vouchers and Third Prize is $549 in local business vouchers. These vouchers are not exchangeable or redeemable for cash.

• The $1,000 value is set by Ritchies IGA and includes items such as Christmas ham, chips, drinks, condiments, spices, sauces, and general Christmas-themed merchandise (e.g., wrapping paper, bon bons, decorations). Prize value is indicative of shelf prices as of the 24^th of October 2025.

• Some perishable items requiring refrigeration will not be on display.

• The prize is non-transferable and cannot be substituted for cash or store credit.

5. Prize Display: The Grand Prize can be viewed at Ritchies IGA Maclean in November and December prior to the prize draw. The perishable items will not be displayed due to refrigeration requirements.

6. Draw Details:

• The raffle draw will take place on Friday, 13th December 2025 after 6pm.

• The draw will be conducted via a Facebook Live, in the presence of independent witnesses.

• There will be only one (1) prize winner per category.

7. Winner Notification:

• The winner will be notified via the contact information provided at the time of ticket purchase.

8. Prize Collection:

• The Grand Prize must be collected in person from Ritchies IGA Maclean.

• If the Grand Prize is not collected by 2:00 PM on Friday, 19th December 2025, the remaining prize will be considered forfeited.

• In the event of forfeiture, another eligible entrant will be selected, and the originally drawn entrant will have no further claim to the prize.

9. General Conditions:

• The Organiser reserves the right to verify the eligibility of all entrants.

• The Organiser reserves the right to disqualify any entrant found to have breached these terms and conditions or engaged in any unlawful or improper conduct.

• The Organiser will not be liable for any loss, damage, or injury sustained as a result of entering the raffle or in connection with the use of the prize.

• By purchasing a ticket, entrants agree to abide by these terms and conditions.

10. Privacy:

• The Organiser will collect personal information solely for the purpose of conducting the raffle and will handle all personal information in accordance with applicable privacy laws.
